Synopsis
Carol is a regular memory researcher in the university of The Eyes of Faith. As deadlines approach she undertakes the difficult task to understand the perspectives and feelings distilled from the memories of people - ordinary and otherwise. But after a faithful game of chess with her mentor James and a surprise addition to her research courtesy of her best friend Colin, she will have to navigate the difficult balance between ghostly, vampiric and immortal memories, and the search for the truth.

After the faithful game of chess, James takes a peak into his prize.Confronted with the sudden death of a loved one, Carol contemplates the importance of living and making memories for those left behind. Collin tries to stay positive and impartial, giving Carol the necessary support through the difficult moment.

Chapter 3
In the aftermath of losing the chess game, Carol is still determined to continue her research into the memories and feelings of people from all backgrounds and creations. Collin brings the promised vials – two humans, a ghost, an immortal and a vampire.
Choosing to begin with a human memory Carol then takes a peek at a daughter close to her age, confronted by the embodiment of grief in the face of her father.

After the traumatic experience the previous night and despite the effect her state had on Collin, Carol is determined to finish her research. In this episode, we delve into a familiar type of relationship, but unlike the previous time, we now find that this particular type of connection carries many unfortunate and sad connotations.
